Your fitness for this position will be evaluated based on the feedback of your Tutors, Student Success Managers and other Teaching Assistants.**Our **Teaching Assistants** act as senior peers to the students on **_Data Science_ / *Business Intelligence Analyst** programs. **Teaching Assistants** help new students—who just started one of the programs without any previous experience in tech—go through the beginner material and the first few sprints. The primary goal is to guide, support and motivate new students to the point where they feel confident with the material.Together with other team members, you will be communicating with students on a daily basis, mostly through video calls (group and individual) and direct messages. You'll be someone students relate and look up to because you've been through the same journey as them and can explain everything in the language they'll understand.You will need to help students with very different requests. Questions will range from navigating the platform and analytic tools (Google Sheets, Tableau for BIA program), to writing code or formulas, starting to work on a project, completing simple platform tasks. You'll be able to share your own lifehacks, learning and work experience during these conversations.**Requirements**:- You are a graduate of one of our programs (either Data Science or BI Analytics)- You possess a good level of written and spoken English — our students are Americans, so it's necessary to have a good level of English, the ability to convey your thoughts and explanations, and to maintain an engaging dialogue in English- You are careful with communication, can structure your thoughts, and love helping people- You treat people with respect and understanding no matter the nationality and culture and anything else. And you are willing to work in a multicultural environment!What you will do:- Host weekly group coworking sessions. Most often, this is just a voice/video chat on Discord that helps students (usually new ones) with all sorts of questions. This is also a space for informal communication and some small questions with quicker responses, which just needs a bit of moderation
