**Main Responsibility**:
- Organizes and cleans data to remove quality issues, combines data sources, and provides relevant information which may include developing samples used to create analytics models or reports
- Locates and acquires data from existing data locations, external sources, and new data sources as needed to support analytics and reporting.
- Works on new data provisioning solutions, explores new ways of organizing data, and focuses on developing sustainable data usage for designated stakeholders including access, costs, and organization processes.
- Supports data governance activities by acting as a data steward or custodian of certain data elements.
- Creates ad hoc reports and visualizations that support data-driven decisions.
- Works with IT to ensure the data architecture meets the needs of the analytics teams and aligns with overall IT data management strategies.
**What Skills You Need**:
- 3+ years experience with reporting and visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, etc.
- 3+ years of experience utilizing complex queries to gather and analyze datasets
- 3+ years of experience building databases and data pipelines
- Demonstrated knowledge in various programming languages (Python, R, Advanced SQL, etc.)
- Ability to analyze, translate, and define business requirements into technical solutions.
- Excellence in verbal and written communication forms with emphasis on persuasive communication, tact, and negotiation.
- Ability to manage many competing priorities/requests in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced problem-solving ability.
**What Makes You Stand Out**:
- Experience interacting with a Data Lake environment or other large complex datasets
- Demonstrated applied knowledge in Machine Learning techniques and algorithms
- Experience in leveraging cloud services
**Education**:
- Degree in an Information Technology discipline or equivalent experience.
