Job Description 3-5 years of DBA experience, with MySQL environment.Hands-on experience with Standalone instances, MySQL InnoDB clusters including geo-distributed and Master – Master group replication.Strong knowledge of all UNIX and MySQL utilities. Troubleshooting database production problems and database connectivity issues.Strong UNIX platform skills and understanding of network, storage, tiered application environments and security.Proficiency in writing functions and packages for administration and application support.Strong knowledge of operating systems, scripting languages, data modeling and business intelligence tools.Strong MySQL expertise: In-depth knowledge and experience in administering, optimizing, and troubleshooting MySQL databases. Familiarity with MySQL clustering, replication, and high availability solutions.Database Performance Tuning: Proficient in query optimization, indexing strategies, and performance tuning techniques to improve database performance and response times.Database Administration: Hands-on experience in database installation, configuration, backup, recovery, and security management. Knowledge of database administration tools and utilities.Monitoring and Alerting Tools: Familiarity with database monitoring tools such as Prometheus.Scripting and Automation: Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Shell, or Perl to automate routine tasks and create efficient database management scripts.Troubleshooting and Problem-solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner.
