**Position Summary**:
Manages the overall operation of the Distribution Center to ensure the efficient flow of merchandise into and through the distribution network to the final destination with high quality standards to guarantee inventory integrity at the lowest cost and on time delivery, Creating a competitive and comparative advantage.
Responsible for the development, monitoring and achievement of operating and capital budgets.
Ensures that security and safety standards are maintained for the employees, equipment and facilities in the whole Autozone network.
Adhere to Autozone policies,practices and culture.
Proper and effective use of Autozone facilities and resources, as well as maintenance responsible for the Facilities and Equipment.
**Position Responsibilities**:
- DC performance, Operational plan development and compliance, based on Models to reach KPI targets (DC service Level, Inventory Accuracy, order processing time, on time delivery, Throughput, Vendors service level and performance), according to Autozone Supply Chain standards.
Ensure preventive maintenance programs of forklift, building and facilities equipment are carried out to ensure the sustainability of the operation.
- Financial performance & Analysis, P & L, Controlling spending budget annual regional transport and Warehousing, Budget development and compliance.
Management of multi-sites for supply dry services.
Gross profit and control and EBITDA Compliance.
- Collaboration in productive projects to optimize national distribution network in cost reduction and service improvement.
Setting rates, benchmarking, cost shadow projected simulator and schedule delivery model development.
- Responsible dotted line to ensure compliance with the processes of prevention and asset security in the dc, as well as implementing improvement plans and reduction of waste.
- Responsible for monitoring compliance with human resources processes, compliance with the policies, values and code of conduct of the AutoZoners, implementing improvement projects for motivation, integration and healthy work environment.
- Maintain effective communication with store regional managers visiting stores auditing the quality of the DC shipments and elaborate operative improvements to better service stores
**Position Requirements**:
- Level of Formal Education:A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent.
- Area of Study:Engineering
- Years of Experience:More than seven years
- Type of Experience: Multi sites operation, Supply chain management, Freight and distribution.
- Special Certifications or Technical Skills: APICS (supply Chain) / Six Sigma / Master Planning of Resources
/ Supply Chain Managment Professionals.
