We are seeking an experienced Demand & Production Planner to join our Supply Chain team. This position reports directly to the Supply Chain Manager and will operate daily out of our San Luis Potosí, México facility. Relocation for this position cannot be supported and qualified candidates must have authorization to work in México without support.
What is the job about? The Demand & Production Planner receives customer orders, confirms them in time, guarantees a high level of master data quality, monitors deliveries dispatched within the expected lead time by the customer, marks priority within the production plant, and creates a production plan for the next 12 weeks based on machine capacity and material availability. Additionally, this role is responsible for transmitting customer requirements to the plant and coordinating requirements to meet those in time and form.
Your main responsibilities: Confirm orders in time (48 hrs maximum).Dispatch finished goods at the level of SNP, raise one-pagers if needed, and coordinate customer requirements within the production plant.Conduct segmentation process twice a year and direct Finish Good stock according to segmentation, DOS, and SUC.Perform and maintain the production plan for the next 12 weeks (Finish Good and WIP).Contribute to the achievement of the OPR and activity of the plant.Execute daily routines on a daily basis ("Clean up & Daily SAP maintenance").Track daily KPIs and generate necessary reports in Excel to evaluate planning scenarios.Your background: We imagine that you have:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or similar.Minimum 2 years of production planning experience, preferably in a manufacturing industry.SAP Knowledge – MM & SD modules.Advanced office and Windows management skills, particularly in Excel (pivot tables, functions).What's in it for you?
