About the Role: Lead and manage the demand and supply function for pharmaceutical operations in the country as part of the Mexico Supply Chain team, including maintaining high levels of customer service, inventory control, managing supply chain-related costs, and ensuring high GMP standards for products in the supply chain.
Job Description Major Accountabilities Ensure adequate and continuous supply of finished products to customers in the country based on their demand in a timely manner, including S&BP, demand/supply planning, local repackaging or transfer. Deliver Supply Chain team numbers: customer service level (CSL), inventory level, write-offs, and forecast accuracy. Establish an empowered, direct, and non-bureaucratic planning culture and team within the organization that thinks and acts as part of the end-to-end value chain of Novartis. Provide effective communication within the business community about supply and demand signals and effectively manage demand and inventory during bottlenecks and supply crises. Understand and follow integrated global supply chain processes. Ensure data quality in line with MDG at local and global levels and its implications on master data. Ensure all processes (SOP) are properly documented, followed, and regularly reviewed. Challenge, align, and apply supply parameter policies within the country based on global and local policies. Develop and maintain effective partnerships with the Supply Chain team to ensure products are effectively and consistently delivered to customers. Manage inventories, ensuring best practices are followed and appropriate adjustments are made by setting safety stock levels according to company policies and guidelines. Keep high standards of data integrity and support the effective functioning of information systems. Participate in and support global initiatives such as collaborative planning, direct plant communications, bottleneck management activities, pruning, product divestment, direct shipments, etc. Manage supply chain-related costs, ensuring best practices are followed and competitive rates and productivity are maintained. Support competence and professional development (including on the job), succession planning, and other human resources-related activities. Monitor and proactively predict the market, business environment, quality/regulatory and technical changes, and adapt supply models accordingly. Minimum Requirements: University/Advanced degree is required. Master's Degree/other advanced degree is preferred. Preferably > 5 years of relevant subject experience in supply chain.
