**Responsibilities**:
1.Rule Development and Management:
- Design, develop, and maintain business rules using the Drools rule engine.
- Implement complex rule logic to address business requirements.
- Optimize and tune the performance of rule-based systems.
2.System Integration:
- Work closely with development teams to ensure seamless integration.
3.Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and other developers to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
4.Testing and Validation:
- Develop and execute unit tests and integration tests to ensure rule accuracy and performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to business rules.
**Technical requirements**:
- Proven 5+ years' experience with Drools (JBoss BRMS) or similar rule engine frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of Java, including Java SE and EE.
- Familiarity with RESTful and SOAP web services.
- Understanding of relational databases and SQL.
**Desired other technical skills**
- Experience with other business rule management systems (BRMS).
- Knowledge of business process management (BPM) tools like jBPM.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.).
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
