Other responsibilities include the development and validation of assigned components and communicating technical product status and competitor benchmarking to management. The individual will coordinate the packaging with all adjacent departments and work with virtual validation groups to ensure that the CAE scorecard is met as well as manufacturing feasibility. Responsibilities also include maintaining and updating DVP&R and DFMEA, as well as supporting and managing suppliers for quality actions and VO activities. The engineer needs to support meetings throughout NA work hours and work closely with local engineering teams, Architecture/Vehicle Concepts, program science teams & PDO with iterative models to align with all packaging, functional objectives, and system requirements.This position is to work permanently remotely with availability to travel occasionally; all candidates must reside and be legally authorized to work in Mexico.QualificationsBachelor's Degree required in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automotive, Electric, Electro-mechanical, etc).At least one year in the automotive industry as a Product Engineer or in a product development-related position.Design experience in the following components: electronic modules support brackets, internal combustion engine, electric motor, power electronic accessories components, and internal and surrounding components from internal combustion engines.Experience with Catia V5, NX, and Teamcenter, along with DFMEA, DVP&R, and validation plans.Availability to travel sporadically.Advanced English (B2/C1).Additional InformationApplicants must reside and be legally authorized to work in Mexico.#J-18808-Ljbffr
