Seat Design Engineering is in charge of studying and developing design changes required by Model Year change, Minor Model Change or Full Model Year changes due to Regulations or Market Requirements (competitiveness). Also, must secure all Regulations from USA, CAN, MEX, LAC countries are being met. Work in team (cross functional) in order to secure accomplishment of Annual Value Optimization Target by studying, releasing and secure adoption of Technical cost reduction ideas. Finally, secure Project Quality by releasing Countermeasure for 3MIS & IQS reports.
**Main responsibilities**:
1.Design Note Release for all Seat related changes
2.Understand Seat Design structure
3.Cost Reduction ideas study, release, and adoption follow-up.
4.Ensure accomplishment of Nissan and Government Regulations of parts developed.
5.Closure of all issues raised during Digital or physical phase (Root Cause and Countermeasure definition)
6.3MIS / IQS field issues study and defining final CM
**Education**:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical, mechatronics, automotive design engineering or alike.
**Previous experience**:
Nos mandatory but desirable to have previous experience inside of the automotive industry or suppliers.

General knowledge of plastic injection
General knowledge GD&T
**Languages**:
English (Business fluent)
