Design Engineer 1- Human Factors & Ergonomics Human Factors & Ergonomics team is focused on delivering a comfortable, intuitive, and refined experience to our customers, developing vehicles that fit each Market Condition, Anthropometry & Quality while working close with cross-functional teams.
The test engineer must have a strong ability to visualize a part or system and work in a digital environment through the development cycle until physical phase, this includes a wide-range of responsibilities including performance target setting, vehicle evaluation and assessments. The engineer will also need to interact daily with staff throughout the engineering, manufacturing, & quality organizations. Success in this role will be measured by product impact (in the form of competitive vehicle performance) and ability to provide attractiveness to the customer.
Job Responsibilities: Lead project in charge: Planning and control, execution and reporting of activities.Lead the vehicle performance evaluations related to ERGO, SEATS, HQF (Test plan, execution, results analysis and judgment, report).Defining the essential factors to both improve attractiveness of Nissan products and reduce customer dissatisfactions: Investigation, database analysis, reports.Benchmarking of competitive vehicles, either for ERGO, SEATS, HQF to provide market trend analysis of customer expectations.Digital data evaluations, physical mock up, virtual reality, and customer clinics.Identify key performance attributes and feature requirements to be adopted to Nissan products to maximize each commodity aspect for a better ease of use.Documenting all test and development activities through test reports and meeting minutes.Education:
Industrial Engineer, Mechatronic Engineer, Mechanic Engineer, Design Engineer.
Years of Experience:
At least experience in the industry as Internship.
Required knowledge:
Any experience in the automotive industry.
Language:
English Fluent conversation; Toeic = 700 points.
Computer Skills:
CAD software (NX, Solid Works, AutoCAD) & Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
Competences:
Leadership skills: Planning, communication, negotiation, networking, proactivity.
Effective and Strong presentation skills within all levels of the organization and with outside organizations.
Ability to manage multiple issues and tasks simultaneously.
Self-starter, think outside the box.
Driver's license (Driving experience: around 3 years).
Desirable: Active Passport and VISA.
