**What You Will Do:- Design and develop automation solutions for manufacturing.- Gather requirements- Develop concepts- Analyze your alternatives- Design- Quote- Build- Debug- Qualify- Innovate processes- Seek and develop cutting edge technologies for manufacturing processes- Give Molex a comparative advantage in connector manufacturing- Collaborate with our global automation and manufacturing teams- Project and Vendor management- Work as an automation specialist with outside vendors- Act as project manager for outside vendor projects- Help write and revise automation machine specifications**Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)**:- Availability for 5-25% Travel Domestically and Internationally- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline- Minimum of 1 years of mechanical design experience- Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing per ASME Y14.5-2009- Knowledge of standard engineering-grade metal, finishing and plating techniques- Knowledge of part fabrication and design for manufacturing including CNC, EDM, injection molding, stamping, and rapid prototyping- Experience and familiarity with a revision control and structured change/ECO management processes- Working knowledge of complex tolerance analyses- Strong verbal and written communication skills - English**What Will Put You Ahead**:- Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing per ASME Y14.5-2009- Experience and familiarity with a revision control and structured change/ECO management processes- Working knowledge of complex tolerance analyses**Who we are**As a Koch company, Molex is a leading supplier of connectors and interconnect, components, driving innovation in electronics and supporting industries from automotive to health care and consumer to data communications.
