If you have growth mindset and you thrive tackling challenges, you are probably a great fit for our team!**Job Description**:**As a Sr Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the engineering development and design of all mechanical functions and components of Electronic Control Units with simultaneous consideration of Design for Reliability, Design for Manufacturing, Design for Assembly, and Design to Cost.**Technical responsibility of all mechanical product development aspects of Automotive Electronics, including the following:- Technical lead of the group responsible for advanced development activities for electronics modules that enable autonomous driving/advanced driver assistance systems.- Development projects include multi-core/high-speed hardware solutions and hardware based cyber security solutions, as well as audio video bridging (AVB).- Responsible for driving the decision-making process to select engineering solutions required to meet customer and internal requirements, by using multiple engineering tools (e.G., CAD/CAE) considering simultaneously Design to Cost, Design for Reliability, Design for Manufacturing and Design for Assembly approaches.- Responsible for creating, reviewing, and releasing product engineering deliverables and specifications such as 3D CAD Models, Tolerance Analysis (2D, 3D, Statistical), 2D CAD Component and Assembly Drawings, both internally and at the customer.- Act as key technical interface for mechanics topics with customer engineering team and internal cross-functional teams (e.G., Hardware Electronic Design, Software, Systems Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, etc.) to support program milestones and deliverables.- Responsible for the verification of requirements and functions by deriving CAE, analytical, and physical validation plans (DVP&R, PVP&R).- Responsible for creating, reviewing, and releasing product development quality deliverables such as Engineering/Design Reviews, FMEAs, Special Characteristics, and Technical Risk Management
