Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Design Quality Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus.
Reporting to the Quality Director, will be responsible for ensuring the quality system is in place and in use as well as customer requirements. Promote and coordinate continuous improvement activities, 8Ds, FMEA / QCP, iSO9000, statistical process control, Six Sigma.
What a typical day looks like:
- Supports Product Engineers and Quality Program Managers with customer interfaces as necessary on quality related issues.
- Initiates corrective action requests as needed and tracks to satisfactory completion.
- Assists with development and implementation of quality audits.
- Responsible for developing, applying, revising, and maintaining quality standards for processing materials into partially finished or finished products.
- Analyzes reports and returned products and recommends corrective action.
- Approves product, process, and equipment qualifications.
- Will be in charge of a sustaining processes.
- Meetings with CFT.
- Supports Product Engineers and Quality Program Managers with customer interfaces as necessary on quality related issues.
- Communication channel with client. (Complaints, solutions). Client point of contact.
- Customer Quality report weekly.
- Approves product, process, and equipment qualifications.
- Customer Quarterly Business Review meetings.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
- BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
- Must fluently English.
- Advanced experience in manufacturing electronics or automotive
- Knowledge in statistical analysis & Statistical processes control.
- Leadership mindset
- Knowledge SMT & Backend (PCBA´s processes)
- Box / Integration process.
- Knowledge PPAP´s.
- Knowledge NPI
- Problem solving methodology (8D, 5Why, Process mapping)
- QCP / FMEA knowledge
- Advanced Excel
- Client communication experience.
- Management people
