Design Quality Engineer

Responsible for ensuring and verifying the engineering and drafting products support and meet quality, safety and regulatory requirements.
- Develops, maintains and implements quality and reliability standards and requirements. - Work with Quality, Engineering and Manufacturing teams to ensure final products are safe, compliance and meets manufacturing requirements as effective and cost-efficient as possible.
- Provide technical verification of component usage and integration of the selected components on the aircraft. Provide troubleshooting and debugging of designs.
- Support engineering staff with knowledge of AS9100, ANSI, DOD100 and global design/drafting standards.
- Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other Engineering related to the fild.
- Minimum of 5 years of electrical/mechanical/seat/structures design or technical checking experience
- Experience in the aircraft/aerospace industry preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of AS9100, ANSI, DOD100 and global design/drafting standards.
- Knowledge of FAA and OEM requirements for production and retrofit aircraft.
- Knowledge of OEM aircraft manuals preferred.
- Strong attention to detail
- Statistical analysis knowledge
