Where no two days are the same.**YOUR ROLE**- Interface with cross functional team to design and develop functional solutions that achieve design requirements & to ensure proper design interfaces with other components, and all requirements are met.- Work with other functions Design / Releasing teams to ensure consistency in requirements, standards, and practices across programs.- Integrating system components.- Own and update Design Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (DFMEA), Design Verification Plan & Report (DVPR), and Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) - ensure functional objectives guidelines and corporate requirements are met.- Develop timelines and drive programs to meet deliverables.- Interface with stakeholders at all levels including vehicle teams, HMI, validation, requirement leads, technical specialists, leadership, and develop robust functional designs.- Conduct Computer Aided Design (CAD) modeling (Catia / NX) and template set-up & maintenance using Knowledge Based Engineering template modeling techniques.- Generate CAD and 2D drawings for components including GD&T.**YOUR PROFILE**- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering.- 1-2 years of experience in the automotive industry.- Knowledge of CAN/LIN bus and experience with circuit analysis.- NX and Teamcenter knowledge- Automotive Interior Product Design components/systems design/development/releasing experience.- Experience with Tooling feasibility in Injection molded plastics/Decorative components.- Highly motivated individual with excellent communication, leadership, organizational skills, excellent relationship building skills with the ability to work in a cross functional team environment.- Knowledge of Design Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (DFMEA), Design Verification Plan & Report (DVP&R), FEA, Mold Flow Virtual Validation, GD&T, and i-Speed.- Advanced English is a must!**WHAT YOU'LL LOVE ABOUT WORKING HERE?**- At Capgemini Engineering, we encourage flexibility in how, when, and where people get their work done, allowing a better work-life balance, and greater empowerment.
