Responsible for performance of Design team- ? Responsible for ensuring Designers receive appropriate training and performance feedback.- ? Maintain, develop, and communicate design standards and practices where necessary to ensure quality and efficiency.- ? Communicate regularly with Engineering Manager and other groups and personnel to ensure processes and workflow are aligned.- ? Be familiar with internal joist/deck design program to facilitate training, troubleshoot problems, and design projects when necessary.- ? Familiarity with Steel Joist Institute and related OSHA requirements to ensure adequate designs are provided by Design team.**Required**? Must be willing and able to conduct regular performance reviews for Designers, discussing both positive feedback and opportunities for improvement.- ? Must be very organized and able to manage time effectively.- ? Fluent with MS Excel to assist with reporting, scheduling, and analyzing group performance and other metrics.- ? Must be willing and able to effectively schedule work for the Designers to meet Customer needs and project schedules.- ? Proficient in English**Preferred**?
