This includes technical information (3D models, 2D drawings, BOM's, engineering instructions), cost information, customer information, supplier information. Works with other designers, project engineers, and product engineers to properly specify products for purchase and manufacture by the operations team. Duties include sales drawing creation, fabrication work packages, supporting sourcing team with estimates and technical descriptions to suppliers, and development of aftermarket parts lists for the aftermarket team and customer facing documentation for the customers. Sales drawings include 2D and 3D outputs. Fabrication packages include 2D drawings, 2D models, BOM's, and manufacturing instructions.- Development of drafting and design tools to support improved product performance, cost, specification, sales 3D/2D generation, fabrication work package generation, and part number generation and maintenance and translation to ERP tools. This includes illogic models, automatic BOM's, tools for automatic production of models and drawings, tools for clear and efficient communication of engineering details to manufacturing centers (internal and external).- Supporting sales, other business units, etc
