If you are passionate about the tourism industry, excel in leadership, and are driven by results, this is the perfect role for you!Position OverviewOur Destination Manager will be responsible for leading the destination's operations, ensuring competitiveness by offering the best products, driving outstanding results from the sales team, and delivering operational excellence through the airport services team.
With more than 200 team members under their leadership, the ideal candidate will foster a high-performance culture focused on customer satisfaction, efficiency, and continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and oversee all destination operations (product, sales, and airport services) aligned to our Omnichannel strategy.Ensure NexusTours offers the most competitive products and maintains service excellence.Drive the sales team's performance to achieve or exceed business targets.Manage airport operations to guarantee smooth processes and excellent customer service.Develop and implement innovative strategies to maintain the destination's leadership position.Focus on numerical analysis and data-driven results to improve operations and profitability.Foster a culture of efficiency, accountability, and customer satisfaction.Mentor, support, and develop talent across all departments to ensure continuous growth.RequirementsProven experience leading large teams in a DMC, hospitality, tourism and/or logistics environment.Strong leadership and organizational skills with experience managing 200+ employees.Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service.Data-driven with a focus on KPIs, metrics, and operational outcomes.Innovative thinker with the ability to embrace new opportunities and solve challenges.Experience in product development and knowledge of the Cancun/Riviera Maya tourism market is a plus.Exceptional communication skills in English and Spanish.Join Us!If you are passionate about tourism, results-driven, and excited to lead operations in one of the most beautiful destinations in the world, apply today!Be part of our mission to make vacation dreams come true.GoNexus Group is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
