ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Contribute to the Platform Services team and be a trusted advisor on the Americas Infrastructure group relating to public cloud infrastructure:
- Plan, Configure, Deploy and Operate a cloud solution
- Configure access and security.
- Plan, Deploy & Operationalize the Dev Ops framework
- Ensure Performance standards by configuring Auto-Scaling Solution to meet varying Load requirements.
- Automating the platform build and configuration on Google Cloud Platform
- Deliver Proof of Concepts for new Solutions on Cloud
- Good written/Oral Communication, Presentation, Interactive skills with team across geography.
- Works well under pressure and meets deadline.
- Flexible to work either independently or with team.
- Provide overall project communication to stakeholders and meet project requirements and stakeholder expectations.
Undertake and create Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
Undertake disaster recovery procedures if required
- Calculate charge back based on consumption
Cloud design for scalability, elasticity and high availability
Proven ability to perform in a collaborative, team-oriented environment with a strong customer orientation (internal and external)
Familiarity with ITIL methodology
Excellent interpersonal skills at all levels within the organization
Ability to work in an VUCA environment
Firm grasp on security,
authentication scenarios with Azure Active Directory
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Visio.
Outstanding customer service and interaction skills, as well as excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Ability to work independently under little supervision within a demanding client centric environment.
Demonstrated ability to be a team player with a high level of initiative.
Profile
- 5+ years experience building and supporting large-scale, business critical systems on Public Cloud
5+ years of experience in IT industry, with broad understanding of compute, storage, security and network infrastructure.
3+ years of hands-on experience with G CP cloud resources and services
- Good understanding of cloud design considerations and limitations and it's impact on Pricing.
- Networking principles and protocols such as IP subnetting, routing, firewall rules, Virtual Private Cloud, LoadBalancer, Cloud DNS, Cloud CDN, etc.
- Knowledge of Application Monitoring using Google Stackdriver
- Experience with Big Data on G CP - BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Dataproc, Dataflow
- Experience with container technology such as Docker, G KE, Cloud Run
- Experience working in an agile development environment.
- Strong comfort level with Linux, how to use it and advanced configuration.
- Experience with building G CP infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, Puppet and Chef.
- Experience with implementation and/or maintaining Ansible code (playbooks, modules, etc)
Job Offer
$90,000 to $100,000 Mexican pesos plus benefits above the law
