ResponsibilitiesBuild out all enterprise's system and network infrastructure using best practices regarding resilience (high availability) and scalabilityImplement infrastructure and procedures to support a 24/7 business.Help define and implement Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery PlanChampion automated system testing as well as implement stress testing infrastructureQualificationsBS in Computer Science, Electrical engineer or equivalent through experience.Minimum of 3 years of experience in a DevOps roleExperience managing AWS infrastructure using a variety of servicesDeep understanding of networking, DNS, proxies, load balancing, and cachingExperience setting up and deploying LAMP-based server farmsUnderstanding of database design best practices and experience with their maintenance and scalabilityExperience implementing deployment automation withAnsible, Chef or Puppet.Experience with containers and container orchestration systems such as Docker Swarm, Kubernetes, Mesos, Marathon, etc.Experience writing scripted DevOps solutionsExperience with one or more of the following languages:Bash, Ruby or PythonExperience analyzing system performance and defining metricsExperience setting up 24/7 monitoring systemsCan do attitude with a strong sense of ownership and responsibilityWHAT WE OFFERSalary + competitive equity in a high growth-stage startup.Mayor Medical Health Insurance.3 PTO (Personal Time Off)days.12 day vacation period since day 1.Initial contract per project (6 months).Opportunity for advancement & growth in a rapidly expanding team.Mentorship, learning & education programs.
