**What we offer****ABOUT THE TEAM**SAPGCSICareersSystem & Infrastructure DevOps team, as part of Global Cloud Services, is responsible for the system operations across cloud environments used by SAP cloud businesses such as SAP Business Technology Platform.We are looking for an accomplished DevOps engineer for our team in American region.You work in 24/7 follow the sun organization and will be part of a team located in USA and Mexico.You are responsible for automation, operations and configuration of the PAAS layer virtual maschines and cloud services.You support meeting the SLAs and MTTR targets, driving implementation, quality improvement, optimization, automation and execution of the platform management processes.You should be able to work across functional silos (network, backup, compute, storage) and other organization units (architecture, design and engineering) to drive values to Cloud LoBs and external customers.**Role Requirements**- Linux OS administration experience is required, SuSE Linux Enterprise experience is nice to have- Configuration management automation knowhow and scripting (Chef, Puppet, Ansible etc.) is required- IT operations experience of enterprise infrastructure and cloud environments- ITIL knowhow, experience in agile project methods- Degree or Master in computer science/engineering or related work experience- Excellent communication (fluent in English)**Work Experience**Minimum of 3+ years of diverse working experience as DevOps, Linux System administrator, SRE Engineer**LOCATION**Monterrey**EXPECTED TRAVEL**Max. 20%SAPGCSICareers**We are SAP****Our inclusion promise**SAP's culture of inclusion, focus on health and well-being, and flexible working models help ensure that everyone - regardless of background - feels included and can run at their best.
