Key Responsibilities
- Architect digital transformation solutions of projects and programs. Understand the customer's business problem, need, or opportunity and design a technology solution that appropriately addresses them
- Architect and customize reusable solutions of projects or programs
- Capture and share architectural IP at the project and program level
- Oversee the implementation and governance of architectures of projects and programs
- Responsible for project design deliverables like models and diagrams, requirements documentation, project plans, release plans, etc.
- Develop technically feasible long-term technology strategies and plans for HPWS
- Assess the business impact of specific technologies/ strategies
- Identify and address technical or operational risks
- Collaborate with other architects to define, update, and re-imagine touchpoints across the impacted customer journeys to identify and improve various go-to-market processes
- Partner with the product managers, go-to-market teams, customer, sales support teams, and solution managers to ensure a robust architectural runway that can support future business requirements throughout the offering lifecycle
- Define and guide strategic and transitional architecture solutions aligned to the business outcomes of the various service and product offerings
- Identify and resolve technical pain points across the go-to-market value chains of the key business functions within HPWS
- Identify and leverage opportunities for emerging technologies and fundamentally different and efficient solutions of go-to-market capabilities
- Collaborate extensively with HPWS business, IT, Sales Operations, and various product teams to define solutions that drive the overall business outcomes
- Provide technical guidance and support to solution delivery teams throughout the initiative lifecycle around design, platforms, emerging technologies, etc.
- Ensure standards and best practices are being followed as part of the implementation of the solutions
- Assess the technical impact of multiple technologies/strategies
Education, Experience, Skills, and Knowledge Required
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
- 8-10 years of software design, architecture and development experience
- Experience in solutioning complex and challenging business requirements and digitizing complex end-to-end business flows and processes
- Experience and/or exposure to process mapping and reengineering activities
- Experience and proficiency in waterfall and agile development methodologies
- Excellent English speaking and writing skills
Experience, Skills, and Knowledge Required Preferred
- Ability to understand customer business challenges, convert them into requirements and well-articulated system designs & solutions to resolve and/or enable business growth
- Ability to communicate and synthesize business requirements into actionable architecture solutions
- Identifies risks and challenges the business should expect to encounter with the solution based on similar efforts done with other projects/programs
- Deep Technology industry knowledge in Quote to Cash, Order to Cash, Sales Compensation, ERP, CRM, etc. Understands future technology or operational trends as they relate to and support customer business requirements ("trusted advisor" role)
- Able to design for accessibility, scalability, and availability
- Ability to lead a team in the completion of one or more architecture, requirements, operational, or implementation deliverables
- Ability to lead the architectural design, development, deployment, and technical quality of IT based solutions (typically within multiple technology or specialty areas)
- Ability to provide architectural direction for multiple projects concurrently
- Understands and applies IT system/ operational solution related modeling methods and tools. Can validate/evaluate if an information system or operational architecture meets technical requirements and specifications
- Familiar with multiple architectural, development, and operational methodologies (e.g., Zachman, TOGAF, ITSM)
- Applies appropriate methodologies and knowledge to resolve complex business issues
- Ability to write Design documents and Statements of Work for medium to large size solutions for single/multiple technologies or operational areas
- Good business acumen, strategic mindset, and effective interpersonal skills
