If you excel at bridging the gap between cutting-edge possibilities and actionable business outcomes, you'll drive lasting impact within our organization.**Responsibilities**:- Shape our technology strategy, championing the implementation of emerging technologies to optimize product development, enhance our manufacturing efforts, and revolutionize customer and employee experiences.- Create and drive a strategic roadmap of experimentation with emerging technologies that have high potential for impact at Avery Dennison.- Drive the scaling of proven tech experiments across diverse areas including AI/ML, advanced data analytics, Factory 4.0 principles, and robotics.- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to develop and present compelling business cases for large-scale technology adoption, emphasizing ROI and operationalization roadmaps.- Cultivate a culture that embraces calculated risk-taking, rapid learning, and a bias for action within a complex organizational environment.- Develop and mentor a team of innovators, sharing expertise in emerging technologies and fostering a collaborative knowledge-sharing environment.- Prioritize and manage multiple projects. Assign specific tasks and lead projects (plan, delegate, follow through). Determine resources, actions and timelines for projects.**Qualifications**- 5+ years of progressive IT leadership, with extensive experience in enterprise architecture and large-scale technology implementations. Experience working in a matrix organization and global environment preferable.- Excellent communication skills and executive presence; ability to effectively engage and influence audiences at all levels, including senior executives and C Suite.- Proven track record of effectively translating emerging technology potential (AI/ML, data analytics, robotics, etc.) into impactful, scalable solutions.- Exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to influence decisions, secure buy-in, and drive adoption of transformative technologies.- Strong business acumen, with expertise in quantifying and articulating the value proposition of emerging technologies.- Demonstrated ability to navigate organizational complexities, champion change, and drive innovation adoption under existing constraints.- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
