.Eaton's VEH Vehicle Group division is currently seeking a Digitalization Quality Engineer.**What you'll do**:**PRIMARY FUNCTION**:This position Will lead digitization efforts and support quality for the region and manufacturing facilities. Is responsible to compete project deliverables assigned to the Quality function supporting data acquisition, set41p, and analysis. This rde supports requirements for Advanced Product Quality as a core team member on New Product Development and Standard Transition Process teams.**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**:A. Lead regional digitization efforts and problem-solving supporting manufacturing facilities and regional projects. Manage creation and set-up of information supporting project teams.B. Support Region as Subject Matter Expert for Power BLC. Core team member on PROLaunch NPD and STP teams Support Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) Deliverables as assigned on each New Product Development (NPD) or System Transfer Program (STP) team, including the following examples. Special Product Characteristics (SPC) determination, Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA), Control Plans, Measurement System Analysis (MSA), Customer Requirements, Eaton Manufacturing PPAP, Early Production Containment.D. Act as the representative Of the Quality function on the PROLaunch NPD and STP teams, functionally direct additional quality resources only as required to support the projects: Supplier Quality Engineers, Customer Quality Support, Region Quality Manager, Plant Quality Manager and Engineers, etc.E. Lead cross-functional teams on projects to improve problem solving and compliance for current products, across multiple manufacturing plants and with the CustomersF. Participate as a Quality Management System (OMS) Fresh Eyes auditor each year**Qualifications**:**SPECIALZED KNOWLEDGE**:**Education and Skills required to meet position qualifications**:- Degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Quality, Computers, or related field)- 5 Years of quality process knowledge- Strong experience using data analysis tools such as Power 31, Minitab, and data acquisition programs.- Self-Motivated individual who is highly organized and capable of callaborating with various stakehdders to achieve assigned projects and tasks- Strong understanding of AIAG tools, statistical tools, and analysis- problem Solving, Minitab- process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA)- MSA- process Capability- Control Plans- Gage Plans- Implementation of power projects and analysis- Production Part Approval Process (PPA?)- Statistical Process Control (SPC)**Preferred Specialized Knowledge (not required to be qualified for position)**:- American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certified Quality Engineer- Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification**Skills**:*****ADDITIONAL INFORMATION**:- Travel: 35% Requires: Visa & Passport- Ability to influence without direct authority- Ability to work collaboratively across divisions
