**Summary**

This role is responsible to lead the Program Management Office and drives program development, execution, and reporting of key performance indicators and program management related strategic initiatives. Provides oversight to the overall definition, design, development, and communication of project planning activities that ensure projects' profitability, market competitiveness, engagement of the team, and organizational excellence. Is responsible to implement and drive the Project Governance at Celestica.

**Responsibilities**:

- The Program Management Office Director plays a key role to meet the New Projects strategic and financial objectives and ensures the alignment between the CFT and support teams.
- Implementation of the Project Governance within ATS.
- Consistent communication regarding project plans and project deliverables with top management & stakeholders (regular dashboards and reports at all critical visibility levels), in order to assure:

- 1. Sponsorship & engagement;- 2. Project status & outcomes;- 3. Key communication, creation of awareness;- 4. Risk management, escalation of topics, critical tasks & remediation plans.- Mentor and train project team members in PM practices and business re-engineering concepts to ensure successful delivery of projects. This includes workload, skills, project type and complexity, preparation of budget, business cases, scenario analysis, and risk management, among others.
- Overseeing the development of all programs and projects and ensuring that team members are carrying out their tasks efficiently while upholding the company's standards.
- Is responsible of the organizational process assets (standards, policies, processes, procedures, reports, methods, systems, tools, communication) from RFQ (Request for Quote), project nomination up to SOP +12 months.
- Works with IT to ensure the implementation of the best project management systems requirements.
- Utilize and adhere to a formalized methodology of project management, including standardized processes for project execution.
- Contribute to the ongoing use/advancement of PMO standard methodologies, tools, and practice to ensure continuous effective delivery methods including the implementation of Lean-Agile practices across the organization.
- Continuously evaluating projects to ensure they are meeting company standards, adhering to budgets, and meeting deadlines.
- Provides coaching & support to Project Management team to assure requirements are met.
- Increasing the value of the team's skill set while also promoting project management best practices within the organization, giving them a voice to steer the project in the right direction.
- Collaborates and builds communication with multicultural and cross-functional teams.
- Work side by side with the Project Controller in order to assure that finance health in each project is fully secured.
- Monitor, review/revise and/or realign KPIs, to comply with business goals.
- Create and deploy annual training plan using best practices for PM Standards & methodologies.
- Identifies internal / external BIC (Best-in-Class) practices and implements those that best fit with Celestica.
- Leverages off learnings and gathers the lessons learned, making them available to other project teams to increase further optimization and shorten timelines.
- Managing shared resources across all projects administered by the PMO, identifying and developing project management methodology, best practices, and standards.
- Coaching, mentoring, training, and oversight of the PM team.
- Monitoring compliance with project management standards, policies, procedures, and templates by means of project audits.
- Developing and managing project policies, procedures, templates, and other shared documentation.

**Skills required**:

- Excellent analytical, project management and organizational skills with the ability to make sound business judgments.
- Mentality of continuous transformation of PMO processes / tools.
- Strong collaborative skills as demonstrated by ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to drive results.
- It is essential that this person be able to establish rapport, credibility, trust, and respect throughout the organization, be viewed as a team player, well organized, demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills, and have the ability to work effectively, under pressure, and with tight deadlines.
- Additional key desired management skills include, but not limited to, commitment, motivation, timely and assertive communication, negotiation skills, influence others, creativity, problem solving, results oriented, and conflict management.
