**JOB SUMMARY**
The Director, Finance Operations Support & Projects - CALA functions as the strategic leader that identifies and supports projects to drive organizational effectiveness and increase operational efficiency within Finance Operations.
Facilitates the development of project plans.
Leads Finance Operations project teams.
Works with direct reports and peers to identify and resolve issues and risks.
Sets goals and expectations for direct reports using the performance review process and holds staff accountable for performance goals.
Provides timely updates to CALA Finance leadership.
This position leads the execution of Marriott's Global Payments strategy within CALA.
Makes and executes the necessary decisions to keep team moving forward toward achievement of a seamless integration of Marriott's existing platforms and current/future partner relationships (i.e., Accenture, FreedomPay, Acquirer banks, card brands and alternative payments).
Provides direction and assistance to Finance Operations teams as well as continued evaluation of Marriott payment acceptance for above property payments and the enhancement of on-property payment capabilities.
**CANDIDATE PROFILE**
**Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Hotel Management or related major.
- +5 years of relevant experience in management consulting, hotel management, business analysis, or related professional areas; at least 2 years of project management and implementation experience.

**Executing Marriott's Global Payments Strategy**
- Establishes and maintains strong, collaborative relationships with Global Payments and regional stakeholders to understand the business and ensure timely exchange of information.
- Works with internal stakeholders within a dynamic environment and external partners to monitor and support development of business processes, cost recovery models and business cases, enhancements to enabling technology to facilitate above-property customer settlement, improved customer experience and operational efficiencies.
- Participates in contract negotiation efforts with third-party providers with research, financial, and data driven insights which align to Marriott's Global Payments business strategies.
- Supports the maintenance of regular reporting and communication with key stakeholders regarding pertinent strategic initiative activities and developments related to payments.
- Develops and/or participate in benchmarking and market-to-market activities to stay abreast of trends and bring best-practices to Marriott's model.
