Leads in alignment with business unit growth objectives and global business imperatives.
Reporting to the Senior Director Operations for Auto Americas.Responsibilities include managing 2 sites and over $1 billion revenue with growth to $2B.
Primary production processes include high speed stamping, molding, precision plating, and E-Mobility for complex headers, connectors, mechatronics, and a variety of cable assemblies.

**What your background should look like**:**Responsibilities**:- Translate the business strategy and objectives into a regional operations strategy, aligning capacity, goals, and tactics with the objective of exceeding KPI targets in the areas of Lean Six-Sigma Safety, Quality, Performance, Delivery, and Cost.- Lead and motivate a high-performing, regionally dispersed operations team with major manufacturing sites in the Sonora Mexico region.
Cultural savviness and experience leading diverse workforces are key.- Oversee operations in a high-mix environment with a portfolio of hundreds of thousands of SKUs aligned to the key megatrends impacting the automotive industry.- Drive organizational structure, policy, and process changes to align organizational capability to business strategy.- Attract, develop, and retain top talent to build strong pipelines of future operations leaders globally.- Drive a continuous improvement culture through collaboration and communication regarding best practices knowledge sharing, internal and external benchmarking, talent development, and hands-on leadership.- Lead plant Environmental Health and Safety teams to drive a safety-first culture and ensure a safe work environment is maintained by adhering to and enforcing all Company safety practices and procedures.- 15+ years of broad operations management experience in a best-in-class manufacturing environment.- Exceptional business acumen with the ability to understand the commercial, operational, and financial priorities of the business and align operations strategy and initiatives on the areas of highest impact, inclusive of developing Greenfield site.- Demonstrated breadth and depth of functional expertise beyond production (S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning), demand planning/forecast accuracy, inventory optimization, procurement, supply chain, operations strategy).- Managerial courage, gravitas and influencing skills to partner effectively with the broader business unit leadership team.- Organizationally savvy, but not political, and can effectively navigate between Business Unit, Segment, and Enterprise needs seamlessly.- Record of accomplishment of driving and managing change in a dynamic environment and achieving results by setting high standards and holding people accountable for performance
