Manage the purchase of raw materials, analyzing and focusing on the search for supplier location to obtain the best purchasing strategy.
Purchase raw material and packaging with the best negotiation strategies, ensuring quality and delivery time of the material.
- Participate in negotiations and supplier selection, as well as identify suppliers and develop them.
- Seek savings and productivity with suppliers.
- Manage and maintain updated information in the company's systems (SAP, SPS).
- Cooperate in decision making with global buyers.
- Follow up on direct material deliveries.
- Follow up on the entire process of direct material purchases until receipt in the system and payment of the same.
- Participate in the development of new projects.
- Work under the 5's, TPM and continuous improvement tools.
- Participate as manager of the follow-up of the GSSF, quality management, environmental management, safety management and C-TPAT systems.
C-TPAT.
- Observe and ensure that the contractor personnel under his charge, know and observe the safety, environmental, quality and health measures applied in the plant.
- Ensure compliance and knowledge of all safety, environmental, quality, labor and other measures that apply; as well as employees and / or contractors in their charge.
- Successfully perform the selection and evaluation of suppliers and/or contractors.
