Job Summary:
Oversees the production operations within assigned scope of responsibility for one or more of the following processes: integration assembly, PC integration and configuration, testing, technical repair, planning and quality assurance. Provides high quality, cost effective, and efficient service to meet current and future demands. Optimizes facilities utilization, process execution and compliance with internal policies and procedures and external regulations. Provides oversight and direction for assigned team, financial and operational activities.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Manages a team responsible for assembling and/or installing a variety of hardware and electronic components using state-of-the-art technology and processes.
- Oversees the integration, configuration and testing of a variety of hardware, operating system software and peripherals
- Plans, develops and/or implements quality assurance procedures. Evaluates quality deviations to determine cause, effect, and corrective measures to remedy such deviations.
- Surveys customers periodically regarding accuracy of shipments, quality of product, efficiency of process, adherence to specifications and overall customer experience.
- Ensures team's work area is well maintained and in compliance with all safety regulations and department policies including Electro Static Discharge (ESD) requirements.
- Responsible for ensuring equipment is safe, in good repair, functioning appropriately and calibrated in full compliance with required military, ISO and other quality standards. Reviews the evaluation, recommendation and implementation of new equipment or equipment enhancements.
- Reviews, presents, manages and/or contributes to a variety of statistical, narrative, financial regularly scheduled and ad hoc written and oral reports and presentations.
- Assesses productivity measures, identifies trends and monitors department activity.
- Identifies, investigates, and participates in opportunities to improve processes and procedures, to include various key performance metrics.

- Decisions likely have serious impact on the overall success or failure of a function. Erroneous decisions or recommendations result in critical delays or modifications to company objectives and cause long-term harm to business operations.
Work Experience:
- Typically 10+ years including 5+ years of management experience
Education and Certification(s):
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.
