**_What Deployment Leader contributes to Cardinal Health_**
Operational Excellence is responsible for identifying and executing against performance improvement opportunities, enabling successful transformations across the enterprise, and using contemporary process improvement techniques while building people capabilities.
Deployment Leader is responsible for executing the strategic goals for operational excellence within a business segment, unit, or function including the selection and development of resources, managing the project pipeline, and ensuring ongoing communication about progress against goals.
**Location: Tijuana or Juarex, MEX; Alajuela, CR; Santo Domingo, DR; El Paso, TX or Anasco, PR.**
- Act as change agent to bring about significant improvement in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Cash targets, meeting stakeholder commitment, driven by significant improvements in Lean maturity
- Leads discussion and implementation of strategic improvement opportunities by prioritization
- Assesses current business performance and opportunities to deploy and balance operational excellence resources to global manufacturing sites
- Works with multiple cross functional teams, business practitioners, and/or senior leaders and take actions to synthesize findings, implement improvement recommendations, and lead initiatives
- In partnership with business leaders and other lean resources, increase the organization's lean maturity using the standard OpEx maturity assessment
- Understands and can assess financial methodologies with short and long range cost reduction strategies
- Utilizes broad and deep Operational Excellence, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Global Supply Chain knowledge to implement industry accepted business practices, policies, and procedures
- Maintain Kaizen Events Roadmap & VIP Hopper for manufacturing sites
- Mentors Black Belt projects and Kaizens

Qualifications_**
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering,, Supply Chain or related field required. Advanced degree preferred.
- Advance to fluent proficiency in English (and spanish)
- 12+ years experience in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations or related field to include:
- 5+ years experience in Kaizen processes, implementations, and continuous improvement recommendations
- Change agent, able to make the case for lean, demonstrate immediate impact and drive cultural change.
- Highly collaborative; comfortable with constructive conflict and debate normally associated with change.
- Critical thinker with the ability to bring others along, even those with conflicting priorities.
- Impactful communicator and influencer from the shop floor to the boardroom
- Travel >75%
Highly preferred qualifications
- 3+ years experience as a manufacturing/operations manager strongly recommended
- 5+ years of project management experience strongly recommended
- Certification as a Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt strongly recommended
