.Monks is seeking an experienced Media (Associate) Director to lead a full service enterprise media account working on one of the world's most popular brands. You will be responsible for overseeing the development of cross-functional media strategies aligned with client objectives and audience behavior, coaching & developing junior team members in all areas of campaign strategy, planning, management & activation, developing relationships with key vendors, and ensuring overarching success and health of the account. Key Responsibilities Media Strategy & Planning: Lead large scale strategic media deliveries such as annual market analyses, regional competitive landscapes, annual media forecasts and others. Collaborate closely with team leads to ensure development & innovation of all media deliverables. Anticipate roadblocks, and offer advice for enhancing the client & internal experience. Client Management: Partner closely with the Account Director to serve as the client's main agency media POC, ensuring quality service & deliverables across the board. Deeply connect with the client culture and understand their challenges - show up as an extension of their team, not just your average agency partner. Be willing to navigate a culture of transparency and regular feedback for continuous improvement. Continuously look for ways to enhance the client experience, offer additional support, and grow the partnership locally, and globally. Budget Management: Collaborate with and coach the team leads to ensure an efficient allocation of an annual media budget of ~US$20M across digital media campaigns. Maintain high attention to detail and timely reporting & communication regarding all media spend. Responsible for managing the internal team budget and approving costs incurred operationally. Oversee the account margin and ensure appropriate utilization of internal resources to maintain a healthy operation. Team Leadership: Coach and develop an agile, innovative team of creative media experts, helping to develop our talent while maintaining a people first culture of excellence. Communicate & train team members on media tools and digital skill sets. Guide the organizational structure & workflow for streamlined collaboration and ensure clear & direct communication across client & internal teams.
