Generally, works with considerable independence, developing operating plans and related operational processes for own department and monitoring the flow of work between own department and others in alignment with broader business objectives, selecting and developing effective managers and work teams, and managing own organization through reliable systems and processes.Specific Job SummaryWork closely with A&C team on the coordination and support of projects and HOA Replacement Reserve projects, to ensure compliance with design specifications, brand standards, budget, and quality requirements.Work closely and support our Finance and Reserve program corporate teams with the properties reserve studies.Follow up all MVW Engineering requirements, inspections/audits and work closely with corporate Engineering and FL&S teams.Accountable for all municipality environmental/legal Engineering requirements and third-party maintenance contracts.Work closely with our corporate LF&S requirements and follow up on property Steton audits.Work closely with our legal team to obtain and/or maintain any government required licenses, certificates, or permits.Adhere to all corporate-required purchasing policies and controls, including, but not limited to, all outside contractor bids, budgets, and schedules. Follow prescribed safety procedures for personnel and equipment by the company and in-country regulations.Maintain effective Energy Management and Preventive Maintenance programs and conduct special training for other operating departments on the safe and efficient use of equipment and energy in the hotel.Coordinate and facilitate HOA presentations as needed related to Engineering or Reserve projects updates.CLS Generic Expected ContributionsDevelops operating plans and workable business processes for own department in alignment with function strategy.Manages larger business processes and/or projects, setting priorities and measurable objectives, monitoring and reporting on the process, progress and results.
