Position Summary:In the position of Engineering Director, you will be setting the engineering vision and goals for the assigned region in alignment with the company's business strategy. Define and manage project milestones in collaboration with new product development, quality and supply chain to support commercial goals. Translate technical insights into clear, actionable business recommendations including vendor validations, packaging claims, and technical best practices across the supply chain.Essential Job Functions:Keep effective communication with operations, quality assurance, quality control, NPD (new product development), and commercial departments within the company to ensure all areas are aligned regarding expansion and innovation projects.Contribute and support the technical team on the development and validation of specifications to ensure that co-packers and suppliers in the network adhere and comply.Analyze, develop, and implement a productivity savings analysis of the network, look for supply chain optimization opportunities, automation gaps to increase operational efficiency.Perform cost analysis at project evaluation to deliver the best option for cost per case to help the company make better decisions.Support capacity and capability initiatives ahead of demand according to the short- and long-term company strategy. Guide and support effective planning and sourcing for co-packers and suppliers to meet deadlines and production costs.Track, solve, and prevent raw material and finished goods damages around the network ensuring correct communication with co-packers, warehouses, and transportation by performing audits, developing SOPs, and training.Track and analyze claims to report root causes, contribute to the business decisions, and develop improvements to generate savings.Build, lead, and mentor the engineering team into a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Ensure constant and correct performance, training, development, and career planning of the engineering team.Develop equipment specifications and packaging standards, upgrades, and innovations for the assigned region and be the benchmark for other regions.Manage budgets, timelines, and resources for engineering projects related to capacity, sourcing, and capability.Prioritize projects and allocate resources efficiently to meet deadlines and deliver business value.Essential Job Requirements:Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of Engineering, Masters of Business Administration (MBA), Finance, or related field of study.Additional Experience Desired:More than 10 years of experience in engineering and production.More than 10 years of experience in business management and project management.Computer Skills Desired:Microsoft 360, Smartsheet, and Power BI.Additional Knowledge or Skills to be Successful in this role:Beverage industry, warehousing, supply chain, and manufacturing knowledge.#J-18808-Ljbffr
