Job Description: Finance DirectorLocation: Tijuana, Baja California
Position Objective:
Develop and oversee financial and control systems to ensure the company achieves its objectives, guaranteeing the accuracy of financial information, regulatory compliance, and efficient resource management.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage financial operations, setting objectives, policies, and procedures for the organization.
- Prepare and present financial reports on income, costs, expenses, and profits based on budgets and projections.
- Coordinate the preparation of reports for local, state, and federal government agencies, including ISR, VAT, transfer pricing, Safe Harbor, and annual tax returns.
- Implement and supervise the Mexican accounting system, ensuring seamless integration with corporate accounting.
- Stay updated on fiscal, customs, and environmental regulations, advising on necessary changes and their impact on the company.
- Formulate, negotiate, and manage the annual budget for the Tijuana division.
- Design strategies and action plans to achieve organizational objectives, validating standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Organize and coordinate external audits, working with advisors such as Deloitte to ensure financial closings.
- Ensure the preparation and submission of VAT refunds, compensations, electronic reports, and tax adjustments.
- Oversee import/export operations, customs compliance, logistics, MRP, MRO, and cost management, ensuring adherence to maquiladora regulations.
- Select, train, motivate, and develop team members, fostering interdepartmental harmony and collaboration.
- Manage staff performance, ensuring effective communication and achievement of organizational goals.

**Requirements**:

- Education: CPA degree (Certified Public Accountant).
- Experience: At least 5 years as a Controller or Finance Director in manufacturing or maquiladora environments.
- English: Advanced level (capable of delivering presentations and participating in negotiations fluently).
- Technical Skills: Intermediate/advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ERP systems.
- Key Competencies: Leadership, financial analysis, team management, strategic decision-making, and effective communication.
