/JOB FOCUS
- Accountable for the delivery of the full P&L of IM Category and Paxlovid business in Mexico
- Leads and coaches the sales and marketing team to implement business strategies/tactics to achieve revenue targets
- Leads or collaborates with other areas to ensure the appropriate country go-to-market model
- Ensures that all activities are conducted following company policies and SOPs, Pfizer values, and global guidelines (including MAPP, FCPA), as appropriate.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Leadership, Financials, and Planning
- Develop sound business strategies and provide direction to the team to achieve goals
- Ensure ideal allocation of FF resources and flawless alignment between the commercial and promotional teams under a F2F and virtual ecosystem
- Relentlessly assess strategy and adjust to maximize business results and stay ahead of the competition.
- A member of the Mexico leadership team contributing to the overall success of Pfizer in the country.
Strategy
- Ensure a wining aspiration for the IM+ Paxlovid Category through:
- Identify and exploit market-specific opportunities to grow revenue and income.
- Maximize lifecycle product performance through excellence in aligned and innovative planning and execution
- Implement Blue Purpose "breakthroughs that change patient's lives" agenda, ensuring robust plans within each market, role modeling desired cultural attributes and values, and fostering visible and inspirational leadership. Ensure accountability for the highest levels of Compliance with norms, policies, and procedures. Foster a mindset headed by responsibility and integrity.
- Led an agile digital experience marketing and promotion team to support all the brands and actively participate in the digital/innovation strategy for Pfizer Mexico with a transformational impact, turnaround, and become a catalyst.
- Embed the Pfizer Purpose and Values within all global and local strategic planning and to ensure we deliver maximum benefit for our patients, customers, and Pfizer.
People and Culture Leadership
- Ensure the effective utilization of robust processes and capabilities development for talent and performance management to strengthen capabilities in the team.
- Ensure that talent within the team is adequately developed, engaged, and ensure the next generation of leaders.
- Ensure alignment and appropriate allocation of resources via direct and in-direct reporting structure, including Medical, H&V, Corporate affairs, CMO, EMCO and other relevant functions
- Cultivate a great place-to-work environment and demonstrate the ability to work in a matrix organization
Customer and Patient Focus
- Understand key environmental and customer issues in Mexico and co-create strategy that reflects the insights gathered.
- Drive continued evolution of the central and customer-facing teams to embrace and maximize omnichannel customer engagement fully, optimizing the customer experience and utilizing the full Omnichannel mix to meet customer needs. Ensure that accurate, timely, and relevant data and customer and patient insights are driving our investment, content, and resources
Compliance
- Ensure high standards of Compliance with norms, policies, and procedures. Ensure commercial programs, campaigns, field interactions, and working methods embed full Compliance and integrity.
- Embed Compliance as part of the organizational culture.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
Experience & Competencies
- Proven success in leading marketing, commercial, and management of a multi-brand portfolio (at least 10y)
- Broad knowledge and experience in healthcare and pharmaceutical environments (+10y experience). Knowledgeable of the Mexico market is desirable.
- Proven success reaching revenue targets and managing business P&L is desired
- Demonstrated success in working in and across diverse teams, leading high-performing teams by winning in the right way
- Written and spoken English and Spanish
- Ability to travel frequently within the country

Education
- University Degree is a must;
- MBA or another relevant advanced degree is strongly preferred.
Organizational Relationships
- Reports to the Mexico Country Manager
- Leads with the marketing team depending on the country's go-to-market model
- Works in close collaboration with EMCO, CMO, Medical Affairs, Commercial Team, GAV, BAI, PGS, and Finance
- Direct Reports 4 colleagues within the team: 3 Country Brand Leads, 1 Sales National Manager
