Job Title:
Director, Finance & Market Research

Position Purpose
Manages the daily operation of planning, research and analytical activities for multiple international business units; defining and refining processes as needed.
Supervise multiple departments in a cross-functional environment, providing input and recommendations on capital structure and control procedures in an environment that is changing constantly and rapidly.
Ensures planning and forecasting are maintained up-to-date and are as accurate as possible.
Oversees and influences continued improvements in decision models used to positively impact the results of businesses in multiple countries.
Primary Accountabilities
- Performing analysis and recommendations of the financial plans of the business for the new stores in Mexico, comprised of the fully independent business model, through four separate planning cycles anually, as well as the ongoing long-range business expectations.
Planning must include complete reporting, analysis, and verification of results according to the corporate objectives.
- Oversee methods and results of the analysis performed on each new store investment to make initial decisions on the viability of new markets and sites.
Work with the in-country team and the Memphis research team to continually improve the new store sales forecasting model using the most appropriate analysis techniques to provide the most accurate possible sales estimates for investment decisions.
- Create, document, implement, and manage through analyst(s) ongoing performance reporting and analysis for management of the Mexico Store Development.
Reporting must cover all critical financial performance analyses, as well as the most current ongoing business performance measurements.
- Manage all facets Store Development Control for the Mexico business, including the consistent maintenance of all policies and procedures for the oversight of over $50MM USD anually in new store investment, as well as all accounting procedures, reconciliations, and reserve calculations associated wth the Store Development function.
- Coordinate Mexico Research team and Site approval process coordination for New projects (New Stores, HUBs, MegaHUBs, Expansions, Relocations, Acquisitions and other Investment Projects)

Education & Experience
Level of Formal Education: A Master's degree (MA, MS, MBA) or equivalent.
Area of Study: Finance / AccountingOracle/PeopleSoft experience preferred.
Years of Experience: More than seven years.
Type of Experience: Extensive experience in Financial Management and Accounting Procedure for a publicly-traded, multinational company
Special Certifications or Technical Skills: CPA, GAAP, Financial Analysis experience
Other / Preferred: Advanced computer skills, fluent in English and Spanish.
