Primary Function
The Marketing Director will be responsible to drive profitable top line growth and oversee marketing development for México.
Will be responsible for creating a marketing strategy that combines, pressure tests and prioritized Growth Platforms and Category opportunities while providing a strong mandate to evaluate and prioritize "pockets of growth" for Ingredion México.
The Marketing Director will lead the development of best practices on strategic marketing, ensuring adoption of advanced methodologies.
Deeply understand and track the competitive landscape and manage product portfolio.
The ambition is to create stronger innovation and growth plans, with a rigorous sizing and a stronger market adoption.
Will interact with our Global Market Leaders and regional go-to-market teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Developing the annual Growth Plan which aligns growth platforms & category priorities.
This plan will help prioritize marketing communication plans, and it will guide the allocation of budgets and resources.
- Prioritizing the opportunities to guide innovation strategy and pipeline development - helping better alignment of innovation projects and resources to the biggest innovation opportunities
- Evaluating and prioritizing pockets of growth across growth platforms and categories, and estimating the size of the opportunity and recommending business plans to tackle the best opportunities
- Understanding and tracking competitive landscape to inform and enable better business decisions
- Partnering with sales and technical teams to drive the implementation of Go-To-Market strategies
- Coaching and developing a strategic marketing capability across the team
- Coordinating inputs on growth opportunities at the Strategic Planning process, ensuring opportunities have been properly captured during the planning cycle
- Actively participate as a member of the Global Marketing Leadership Team (GMLT)
Business
- Ensures there is alignment between regional marketing and regional technical team with respect to the business plan and ensures resources are appropriately focused.Establishing priorities & objectives relevant to the country and tracking milestones to delivery business Goals.
- Team up with sales teams to drive specialties growth.
- Have a deep understanding of the categories, segments, being able to access and influence key customer stakeholders
- Organize and share information from competitors
- Develop and Execute plans to deliver current and future business.
Agility and Innovation
- Support the General Managers on the strategy plans.
Partner closely with the regional or global to engage in the planning.
- Support GTM teams to accelerate opportunity pipeline conversion rate
- Identify growth opportunities and help prioritize across platforms.
- Incorporate an in-depth view and understanding of our technologies and our business/marketing objectives based on market trends.
- Establish innovation agenda with top accounts

and People
- Leverage relationships with third party organizations who lead best practices in marketing.
- Attend meetings, build networks and research key practices to bring back to the organization.
- Personally, oversee talent management and development processes within the team to ensure talent development.
Knowledge, Skills,
and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred, with min 15 years of experience in strategic marketing.
- Demonstrated experience in Marketing in a B2B environment
- Experience in developing strategic growth plans in our industry is a plus
- Strong strategic marketing toolkit of methodology and practices
- Formal Voice-of-Customer (VoC) methodology experience also a plus.
- Experience in leading a team
- A versatile learner with demonstrated ability to be an agent of change
- Coaching Skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills with ability to successfully communicate across all levels of management
