**About the Role**
The Director of Employee Experience works towards the strategic growth and operating success of Uber Freight. In this role, you will have the opportunity to define the HR vision working in tandem with all areas of HR.
This role will require you to be based in Monterrey, Mexico.
- Champion, establish and evolve talent and leadership development programs
- Develop and continually improve the new hire orientation and learning path experience
- Leverage workforce planning and analytics within the internal customer groups and support through talent review data and succession planning.
- Manage employee relations including compliance, policy, handbook, best practice; US, Mexico, and Canada
- Partner with hiring managers and recruiters as needed regarding hard-to-fill or reoccurring positions; train managers on practices/procedures; provide guidance and recommendations, and other materials as needed
- Provide solutions and recommendations based on data, trends and best practice including attrition, ESat, TRP, etc.
- Serve as day-to-day HR business partner to various groups and provide meaningful solutions; and, engage internal customer groups into best practice/process.
- Serve as an HR expert in matters relating to employees and the employee life cycle, including accountabilities and job descriptions, career planning, performance management, etc.
- Support continuous improvement and creating scalability within training, professional development and other HR systems and processes, (including leverage LSS principles)
**Basic Qualifications**
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
- 12+ years of related experience
- Ability to travel internationally ~10% of the time
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Master's degree in Human resources, organizational psychology, or related field
- SHRM Certification a plus
- Knowledge of Mexican Labor & Employment Law
- Experience as a people manager: leading, coaching, developing, and performance management
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities, able to translate metrics, research, and trends into strategy and action
