Structural aspects of the hotel as well as the maintenance of grounds and external facilities fall within the span of responsibility of the Director of Engineering.Supervise the maintenance and repair of the interior and exterior of buildings, hotel rooms, and contentsEnsure the execution and achievement of the hotel's preventive maintenance programMonitor budget and control expenses within all areas of the departmentParticipate in the preparation of the annual departmental operating budget and financial planningQualificationsMaster's degree in Engineering or equivalentMinimum 5 years of experience in a senior engineering operations position or 2-3 years of experience in a similar capacityProven experience in a similar role, preferably within the hotel industryWorking knowledge of engineering and construction records management principles and procedures, as well as detailed experience with capital and operating budgeting proceduresStrong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office packageAbility to work well under pressure and adapt as necessary, while taking initiativeHighly organized and process-oriented, while displaying and ensuring accountability of self and team membersAdditional InformationWhat is in it for you:Employee benefit card offering discounted rates at Accor worldwideLearning programs through our AcademiesOpportunity to develop your talent and grow within your property and across the world!Ability to make a difference through our Corporate Social Responsibility activities#J-18808-Ljbffr
