We are currently seeking a talented Director of Engineering to lead our team at our offices in Tijuana.
Position Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic leadership and direction to the engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
Lead the design and development of pumping equipment using Solidworks, ensuring adherence to design standards, quality, and performance requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, software development, and manufacturing, to integrate IoT capabilities into our pumping systems.
Develop and implement engineering processes and standards to streamline design workflows, improve efficiency, and ensure design integrity.
Oversee the creation of detailed engineering drawings and documentation, including bill of materials (BOM) and assembly instructions.
Conduct design reviews, risk assessments, and performance evaluations to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in mechanical engineering, IoT development, and pump design.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
10+ years of experience in engineering leadership roles, with a focus on product design and development.
Extensive experience with Solidworks and other CAD software.
Experience managing engineering teams and leading complex projects from concept to production.
Familiarity with IoT development concepts and technologies.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per month
