.**Director of Finance & Business Support**An exceptional opportunity presents itself for a Director of Finance & Business support be part of Paragon Hotel, Santa Fe, Mexico City.As the Director of Finance & Business Support, you will assist the Executive team in delivering the business plan and integrating the businesses where possible, optimizing operating costs and capitalising on cross pollination of business opportunities.You will also provide strategic support and leadership to your teams (ie. Finance, Procurement and IT) and to the Leadership team to ensure the delivery of Sofitel's service standards, memorable colleague and guest experiences and maximum operating results.**What you will be doing**:Reporting to the General Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:- Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service- Lead and manage the Accounting department and ensure all standards are followed- Ensure good communication with Accor Accounting, payroll and tax Shared services- Compile and analyze financial information to prepare financial statements including monthly and annual reports- Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures- Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met- Ensure accurate and efficient monthly, quarterly and year end close- Establish and monitor the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures- Balance operational, administrative and Colleague needs- Continuously manage and support budget and forecast activities and assist Departmental Leaders as required- Oversee the financial audit preparation and coordinate the audit process- Ensure accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses- Analyze and advise on business operations including revenue and expenditure trends, financial commitments and future revenues- Analyze financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and procedures; provide strategic recommendations and maintain solutions to business and financial problems- Follow departmental policies and procedures- Follow all safety policies- Other duties as assigned- Ensure finance system transition from White Label to Sofitel Standard**Your experience and skills include**:- Positive orientation- Developing an empowered team- Guest centric- Leadership- Communication proficiency- Technical Capacity- Problem solving and decision making- Business development and planning- Self-development & self-management- Strategic thinking & analysis**Our commitment to Diversity & Inclusion**:We are an inclusive company and our ambition is to attract, recruit and promote diverse talent.**Why work for Accor?**We are far more than a worldwide leader.
