Your day to day We are looking for a dynamic Director of Human Resources , who will oversee all people programs fostering a culture of inclusivity and belonging. Working closely and collaboratively with the Executive Team to implement process and programs to drive achievement of service performance and satisfaction targets whilst ensuring a harmonious working environment amongst a multicultural team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Create programs to foster a positive work environment for all employees.Support and administer an annual team member satisfaction survey.Leading, educating and training the wider team and General Manager on people issues and HR disciplines to enhance performance.Overseeing day-to-day HR management, reporting and filing and identifying process areas for attention.Ensure hiring standards and applicable laws and regulations are followedBuild great relations with outside contactsDevelop creative ways to inspire and motivate team members to provide guests with a unique experienceWork with department managers to develop initiatives to reach service standards and drive continuous improvement in the guest experienceIdentifying and analysing the local market to ensure our own offering remains competitiveBuilding a positive work environment for all IHG colleagues throughout their career with us – from onboarding, to training and promotions, through to exitEnhancing our hotels' reputation in the local community and beyond, and promoting team member involvement in the local communityWhat we need from you For you to be the ideal candidate, you should have the following:Min. 8 years' of related experience in Human ResourcesSupervisory experience also preferredPre-opening experience preferredAbility to maintain confidentiality to the extent possible in all HR related mattersMust read, write and speak English.
