**Responsibilities- Coach and develop direct reports and their teams, building plans to develop all operations professionals, and building a high performing team.- Driving a culture of zero accidents and prevention in safety and continuous improvement in all processes- Optimize manufacturing footprint to serve both customer and shareholder needs namely delivered quality with high service levels while driving strong margin and working capital performance.- Gather and analyze relevant data to develop business cases for strategic initiatives- Oversee and guide detailed project plans for large projects such as product moves, facility re-layout, and new product introductions- Oversee project execution to ensure proper equipment, people, training, supply network, and infrastructure are in place to meet customer needs- Collaborate closely with procurement, supply chain, and materials to implement pull replenishment where feasible balancing delivery performance and working capital- Develop and lead best practices across sites- Work collaboratively with Product Management, Engineering and Quality throughout the product lifecycle**Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Operations, Management, Engineering, or related field- At least 15 years' experience in manufacturing, specifically in a plant manager role or at a direct staff level for at least 5 years - having filled multiple staff roles a plus- Extensive experience in and knowledge of operations, lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and international trade compliance- Demonstrated effectiveness in building teams, developing talent (a bench)- Demonstrated effectiveness working directly with customers- Strong proficiency in project and program management approaches and tools- Exceptional communication, presentation, and facilitation skills- Experience partnering closely with and advising senior leadership and executives- Proven problem solving and root cause identification skills, specifically customer facing issues with direct interaction with their quality and/or senior leadership- Strong analytic and decision-making abilities- Proven ability to influence others, work effectively with all levels in an organization, and move teams toward a common vision or goal- Ability to travel and work together with the plant locations, customers, and suppliers to resolve complex problems involving processes or materials- Fluency (spoken & written) in English**Preferred Qualifications**- Direct plant management experience with full P&L- Managed multiple sites- MBA or related advanced degree- HVACR Industry and/or Electronics Experience- High volume manufacturing experience dealing with OEMs- Six sigma black belt or similar certification**Competencies**- Ensures Accountability / Drives Results- Builds an Effective Team / Develops Talent- Customer Focus / Organizational Savvy- Drives Vision and Purpose / Strategic Mindset
