You are accountable for all aspects of project performance, including business development, design, construction, financial, schedule, quality, contractual, and administrative tasks.You will also be responsible for maintaining balance and equity between design and construction, leading projects of average size and/or complexity with occasional larger or more complex projects, EPC projects, or Joint Ventures. You will manage mid-level complexity projects up to $50 million or greater and embrace the role of Haskell culture leader for all teams.Job ResponsibilitiesSalesAssemble and lead proposal response team and develop proposal strategy and budget.Manage and coordinate response efforts for RFQ, RFP, and preparation of proposals.Write/review/edit proposal content.Review/edit design, scope, drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and schedules.Establish price and fees.Lead presentation of proposal and prospect follow-up.Negotiate contract terms with client.DeliveryDirect preparation of conceptual estimate and periodic revisions.Develop procurement and delivery strategy and schedules. Authorize advance procurement of long-lead items where advantageous, securing client authorization as necessary.Lead design kick-off meeting. Direct overall project design and permitting activities, working through A/E Project Principal. Assure that conceptual estimate is used as a basis for project design. Lead client design review meetings. Review drawings and specifications prior to each issuance.Establish broad, overall strategy for construction. Approve construction project management organization and assignment of key individuals. Orient Construction Project Manager, when assigned, to project objectives, strategies, and client relationship.Direct preparation of, and approve, all schedules including design schedule, master project schedule, and construction progress schedule, and periodic schedule revisions. Make key decisions affecting schedule, consulting with client as appropriate.Direct preparation of and approve detailed cost estimate. Assist in resolution of discrepancies or conflicts between conceptual and detailed estimates.Participate in construction kick-off meeting.Review project status, budget, and schedule with Construction Project Manager on a regular basis
