Hyatt seeks an enthusiastic Director of Security - Mexico, to join our Inclusive Collections teams. In this role, you will be collaborating closely with the broader Inclusive Collections team, where you'll be instrumental in continuing to make Hyatt a leading hospitality company. **Who You Are**
**The Role**
In this role, you will lead all Safety & Security efforts across all brands and operations for Hyatt in Mexico. You will serve as the Subject Matter Expert within Mexico for safety & security concerns, events, and incidents. You will provide proactive and pre-emptive actions to identify vulnerabilities and provide advice and direction for appropriate mitigations. Activities involve onsite audits and assessments, training, and security consultations to ensure the safety and well-being of Hyatt brand, guests, staff, and assets from a range of security risks and threats (particularly criminality, terrorism, and political violence but also includes emergency preparedness and recovery actions from natural causes).
You will have direct reporting to the Regional VP of Security for Americas and indirect supervision and guidance from the Managing Director for Hyatt's Inclusive Collection in LAC as well as the SVP for Operations for LAC.
You will manage applicable safety & security contractors and vendors, supervise regional security specialists and provide guidance and mentoring to hotel security leaders. You will also provide expert investigative, intelligence, and physical security support to the region's hotel operations and assist in the continuous improvement and development of security programs, materials, management systems, emergency preparedness and initiatives.
The role requires extensive collaboration with other stakeholders to include Operations, HR, Legal, Engineering, Comms and Security within Mexico and the greater LAC Region and Corporate.
