. Purchase & Supply Chain Director F&EM, an Orbia business, is hiring for a Purchase & Supply Chain Director to be based at our Mine in San Luis Potosi! Job Summary/ Purpose Lead Koura´s Mining operations supply chain, integrating efforts and managing resources, within established parameters of safety, quality, cost, ethics, image, and treatment and respect for staff, so that the sourcing of raw material and supplies as well as the delivery to the customers are managed accordingly to the business strategy. Main Responsibilities Collaborate to define Safety guidelines for suppliers, contractors and logistics services and promote their compliance Promote Ethics & compliance culture trough his/her role to the supply chain team as well as the rest of the organization. This includes the compliance of all supply chain department processes Assure the right infrastructure, tools and processes are in place to properly manage Koura's mining operation inventories and warehouse services Define a procurement strategy that includes benchmark (internal and external) and business driven standards, aiming to ad-hoc solutions that promotes cost control and optimization Align the effort of the supply chain team and other stakeholders to ensure the delivery of the S&OP client's commitments Prevent supply chain failure for both supply and client delivery Review and approves the distribution strategy Strive for 100% compliance on foreign trade activities Knowledge/ Experience Required Minimum: Bachelor Degree in relevant field of study (Economy, Engineering) Desirable: Master of Business Administration (Finance) or Engineering in related field.
