This position is ideal for someone driven to develop talent and teams, lead operational excellence transformation, and develop and deploy strategic plans. Prior experience working within the Monterrey area and in a union, environment would be beneficial for this role. This high-impact plant director role is a prime opportunity to come in and put your signature on a very important location for Donaldson.Role Responsibilities:- Lead and transform the manufacturing operations into a world-class, high-performing facility as the primary responsibility for a manufacturing facility and accountability for overall performance to business targets.- Ensures a strong and effective culture within the plant in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and sustainability. Leads leaders in Operations, Environmental Health and Safety, Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain within the manufacturing plant.- Ensure the factory operates safely and drives a positive safety culture.- Develops and manages the plant's operational financial budget meeting manufacturing cost and inventory expectations.- Develop strategic plans incorporating break though objectives to drive continuous sustainable improvements.- Develops and champions a highly engaged and accountable workforce.- Develops and recommends short and long-range plans concerning factory space, capital investments, staffing, and other resources.- Develops and maintains a favorable employee relations climate and community relations.- Maintains all plant buildings, equipment, and grounds.
