Overview
The Mexico Network Products Team is looking for a Director, Product Management to lead our customer experience and operational excellence strategy forward by consistently create, innovate and solve problems.
About the role
Director, Product Management is the main partner to the Technology and Operations teams to make sure that the product is running properly without issues. He plays a critical role to make sure that fixes and enhancements are done to keep the product competitive above our competitors. He is also the bridge with our sales team to understand the pain points customers are having and come up with a solution.
Role
- Revenues for supported product and segment
- Specific Operational KPIs to manage the product
- Product penetration ratio to assigned segments
- Demonstrate and drive Mastercard Way behaviors through their behavior, recognitions, coaching, and employee engagement
- Contribution to SA community, incl. supporting other CSCs if needed
- Market specific objectives
- Serves customers within the Financial Institutions, Retail & Commerce, Digital Partners and Government segments
- Understands value chain of assigned segments to identify trends, needs and opportunities for Mastercard
- Has a good understanding of Mastercard Products, Services and Corporate Strategy
- Has a good Network and Digital Products Knowledge
- Collaborates with Account Management teams to identify customer needs and opportunities; recommends needs-based solutions in coordination with Products, Services and Marketing

- Ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases

- Extensive experience building and launching products

- Demonstrated experience building relationships, partnering with and influencing executive leadership while commanding the respect of the individual product teams across the organization
- Demonstrated experience as people manager with the ability to attract, recruit, and develop product talent

- Deep understanding and experience of product development, product management, consumer experience and problem solving.
- Good understanding of Mastercard products and services.
- Ability to comprehend the business and market context to drive innovative solutions
- Strong understanding of customer's evolving strategic needs, the current and potential future market environment.
- Good understanding of technical basics, APIs, process flows.
- Highly collaborative; strong communicator, natural integrator with demonstrated ability to develop and deliver products and solutions for customer needs.
- Strong product development discipline; able to manage for differentiation, consumer experience, quality, and economics.
- Ability to rally and gain backing from internal stakeholders in order to build organizational support for the proposed solution.
- Ability to understand in depth, analyze, and select current and emerging technologies that are pertinent to the Customers.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze both quantitative and qualitative data, and derive meaningful implications and recommendations from data.
