Position Summary Plans and directs all aspects of an organization's sales policies, objectives, and initiatives. Develops the sales plan to fulfill the growth and revenue goals of the organization. Responsible for ensuring maximum sales volume of an organization's products and/or services. Provides oversight and direction to regional account managers and sales support teams. Key Duties And Responsibilities Serves as subject matter expert on Menasha's products and capabilities to align with customer's business objectives Directs and develops departmental staff including talent acquisition, training, succession planning, performance management, and coaching to achieve sales and service objectives Develops and assures execution of sales initiatives aligned with overall company objectives and strategies Collaborates with key stakeholders to develop new revenue streams and drive organic growth in key account(s) Determines competitive positioning to secure new sales opportunities and protect and defend existing business Understands the competitive environment to gather and provide input for pricing strategies Plays a key role in securing and executing customer contracts Supports account business planning to develop mutually beneficial customer strategies to achieve profitable sales growth Drives internal and customer continuous improvement initiatives to optimize overall retail supply chain execution and deliver cost savings Develops and manages annual sales objectives and required quarterly forecasting to achieve targeted sales goals for assigned account(s) Engages in escalated internal and customer complaints and assures appropriate corrective actions Ensures all customer and third party regulatory compliance requirements are met Prepares and reviews required business reports Participates in industry trade shows and related activities Maintains and shares industry, professional and technical knowledge by networking, attending industry events, and reviewing professional publications Education / Certifications Education Required Bachelor's Degree Education Desired Master's Degree Skills & Experience Work Experience Required At least 10 years relevant experience Knowledge, Skills, Or Abilities Desired Knowledge of the major responsibilities, accountabilities, and organization of the sales function or business unit Knowledge of and ability to use diverse tools, tactics and techniques to persuade a person to perform a desired action Knowledge of processes, tools, techniques and theory behind selling the organization's products or services Knowledge of and ability to utilize customer profile and information Knowledge of and ability to coordinate multiple and diverse options for selling organization's products and services Knowledge of specific products and associated development process and strategy
