Director Site Operations

The ideal candidate will have an ability to create and maintain an efficient system of operation to support the business needs. The candidate should be comfortable multitasking and working cross-functionally with different business units. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in related fields.ResponsibilitiesEstablish and maintain business standards for accuracy, productivity and reliabilityManage the daily functions of the business:*Assist the Plant Manager by substituting him in activities inside and outside the plant.*Align the department's objectives with those of the business using tools such as "Toyota Production System"*Assist neighboring plants on issues related to production.*Follow-up customer satisfaction in terms of quality and deliveries.*Meet KPIs: direct labor efficiency and productivity/materials cost, consumption reduction/waste and rework, indirect labor/manufacturing costs/inventory variances*Participate and direct the definition of the plant design for optimal flow and efficient use of capacity, reliability, operating cost.*Monitoring customer complaints in coordination with the sales team.*Ensure the launch and its competitiveness/profitability of new projects.Promote the improvement and performance of:1.- Suppliers and reduction of material consumption2.- Plant Safety and Environment Department3.- Strategic Plan with a medium-term vision and future of the plant.4.- Legal responsibilities established by local authorities.5.- Internal Financial Control6.- Personnel management, induction, training, empowerment and development of the entire plant and personnel safety.Prepare annual performance review and reevaluate processesEnsure regulatory, compliance and legal rules are followedManage budget to align with goals of businessQualifications3+ years of experience in a similar role (Sub-manager, coordinator) and in an automotive industrie.Master in Production Systems will be a plus, Bachelor´s degree in Engineering as mustFluent englishStrong organizational and communication skillsStrong ability to multitaskComfort working with multiple groups within business#J-18808-Ljbffr
